Wordfuse (Pitiful Attempt Edition)

blundertaking (noun): blunder + undertaking = the act or endeavor of one who embarks on a task, project or pursuit that he or she is almost surely doomed to screw up; however, the blundertaker, compelled by the remote possibility of success (aka a 1% chance), feels driven to attempt anyway. See here and here. And see here as I continue to attempt do-it-yourself plumbing today.

(Maybe say a prayer.)

Clearly you are some sort of madman since plumbing is the one thing most do it yourselfers won't touch.
We have a pipe in the basement that is leaking questionable material and yet we won't deal with it unitl the pro gets here.
The terror is palpable.
Also? blogger won't let me comment here unless I use my blogger id not my wordpress one.
Weird? Or a side effect of the rapture? You decide.

@Duffmano Madman? Terror? Guilty as charged.
@Munk Tentatively advancing....
@Alistair Amazing. You're so quick with wordfuses. You must have the same love-hate relationship with puns that I do.

Very nice. I'll have to admit that I've taken part in blundertakings before. As a man, and even more so, as a husband, how coudl I not?
