Mmmm... those look tasty. You lucky duck. In others news, for those making fries in an air fryer: I went to see my sister Karen on Friday. Her air fryer, plugged in on her kitchen counter but not in use, started on fire. Unplug those babies! -Kate
Seems like your guy knows what he’s doing with the French fries! Regarding the air fryer comment above, someone told me once that a firefighter told them that most kitchen fires started with appliances with a heating feature. Toaster, etc. I have unplugged my toaster ever since. (Now I’m not sure whether it’s the heating feature or if I’m remembering that wrong..could just be a faulty wire, right?)
Sadly my guys are google and youtube:)
ReplyDeleteThat's because you just might be everyone else's go-to "guy."
DeleteI know a guy named Ronald who fries 'em up for me.
ReplyDeleteYes, those will do, if needed.
Delete...and I try to limit the fries that I eat.
ReplyDeleteI rarely eat them either. Sometimes you just need a fry though.
DeleteI dunno, but it strikes me that we didn't visit a chip truck even once last summer. What a tragedy!
ReplyDeleteShakespearean. That will not happen again this summer, will it, sir?

Yikes. Good to know. Also, I'm dusting off "lucky duck" and employing that idiom throughout the day. Insert fist bump here.
DeleteWhen we want fries, we make them at home and call them "french bakes". Just had some the other night. Very good indeed.
ReplyDeleteJealous.
DeleteA coincidence! Came home from work on Thursday evening to a cheeseburger and fries, home made. I know a guy, too!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you know THAT guy!
DeleteCodex: You're my guy. I rarely eat them, but I also cannot find any good ones.
ReplyDeleteHaha. Insert fist bump here.
DeleteOven fries, pretty yummy, lots of pepper. And sometimes some chili powder too. Spicy!
ReplyDeleteYes, those will do in a pinch...the pepper is the secret. Well done.
DeleteIf I want good fries I have to get them at a restaurant, where I don't know the name of the 'guy' that made them.
ReplyDeleteI guess you know a restaurant then? That's good too.
DeleteI am yet to find that guy!
ReplyDeleteKeep looking. Maybe another food guy...like a cheesecake guy? Options, right?
DeleteI want a guy! (whine) This reminds me of all my Italian Uncles because they always "had a guy" LOL
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes...everyone should know an Italian guy too!

ReplyDeletenope, don't know that guy, as I am the only cook in this household it seems ;0)
ReplyDeleteMy guy makes perfect chips, as we call them. He's a gem.
