What's this for?

It's magic.
I like my new car. Great fuel economy! It's tiny (and I'm not). Someone remarked that it looks like I have to pull it on like a boot! I thought that was hilarious.

Anyway, it has this button. I have no idea what its function is. But you know what? I like to press it. (It makes me feel better.)

  1. It's a re-affirmation button. I'm ok, you're ok.

  2. REALLY?? This could be the new EASY button! Press it when the car slides on ice, Press it when someone flicks you off, Press it when you are behind a Sunday driver, Press it when your passenger doesn't like your choice of music, OK takes on a whole new meaning.....

  4. What about an "Eh, I guess so, whatever you say" button? Too wordy?

  5. By "it" I hope you mean your "car."
    One of the funniest bumper stickers I've seen: "My Other Car Is a Car."

  6. Which button? The okay button? Isn't that for when you scroll through your music and you want to select the highlighted song?

  9. I'd prefer a Good button, or even Fantastic, but OK is probably more realistic.

  12. My car has one of those too but only my wife is allowed to touch it.

    {sigh}

    {I'm sure if that was how it's supposed to be it would have been fitted in the back seat}

    {sigh}

    I'm fairly certain this is the button the mechanics press when you take the car for a service instead of doing any work that's needed. Apparently it works just long enough to get you past their guarantee.

    {Jings - am I depressed today?}

  13. I got a button like that and it's called "feelin' good" and I press it when I need to.

    It seems to work but it just might be the placebo effect though.

  16. You can't miss. It appears to be OK to go right, left, forward, or backward.

  18. Sweet! Also, gotta love that new car smell. =)

    ps - I tried to subscribe to your blog via an RSS feed (so I can keep up even when not at the desk top!), but couldn't find a way to do that? Just a thought...

    Happy Friday, enjoy that new car. =)

  19. Pretty impossible not to push a button that says "OK". If Alice had had a button like that in Wonderland, a hookah probably would have appeared. Guessing your button doesn't do that, though.
