?

Um, a snowman...or perhaps a (one-eyed) snow-golfer? 😁

Whatever it is, I love it because I love it when creators resist a huge detriment to their art-making: overthinking.

Dear friends, what do you think? I glimpse an curious and unusual story here, both in its composition and in its substance.

Is this good? Who cares? It captured my attention plus it simultaneously disturbed me and made me laugh. That's what art should do

Bonus: it also hints there are others out there who might also be losing their minds about the unending snow. Art is always a good way to cope.

  2. I think someone was trying to kill the snowman but only managed to knock one of his eyes out and then the snowman grabbed the golf club and kept it:)

  3. okay this looks like an owl to me. I'm sorry about all your snow. I won't share our weather. It's cold if that helps, but no snow. My dog used to remove the eyes from a snow man. for some reason they really upset her. We found it funny

    2. Well he doesn't get to golf often with the snow and all and he probably lost his grip when his arms fells off. :-) No?

    1. Sounds reasonable EXCEPT WE HAVE 6 FEET OF SNOW, ha. Maybe they just quit building, or maybe it's Pennywise, haha and we adults don't see what the children see? Maybe I didn't get enough sleep last night?

  5. Snow can be very useful for making snowmen (or snow owls).

  6. There was plowing here overnight, but we are not under it like you folk. I haven’t seen any snow creatures here lately.

    1. Those snow creatures you can't see...they don't want you to see them, ha.

  8. Is that eye a chocolate coin?? If so, it's no wonder one went missing! I only marvel that the other one didn't disappear too. The builder was certainly resourceful and creative.

    1. Unfortunately, not a chocolate coin or I might have rendered him eyeless.
