Things that deserve the stink-eye:

🤯
Does the internet know about hot-dog pasta?

Probably. But I didn't. And I still don't (because I'm a baby and I didn't eat it).

No judging (but kinda judging): IMO hot-dogs should only be coupled with buns and/or baked beans aka wieners and beans.

Thoughts?

When Youngest Son was a youngster one of his favorite meals was mac and cheese with hot dog pieces, frozen peas, and salsa

What? You never sliced up a boiled hot dog into your KD? That was a GOURMET meal in university, lol!

It doesn't seem new to me, but I can’t remember having it, and I am not very tempted.

I don't like hot dogs, no matter what they are paired with. Yuk!

I wouldn't eat it either.

I can't say I wouldn't eat it, but I never have.

I'd eat it, no problem.

Yuck. Is this the 'I only eat pasta because vegetables will kill me' phase?

Beans on toast. Yes. And did you know that French toast is called 'poor knight' in the Netherlands?

Oh Debra, what you're describing is a Canadian university class, and beyond, but this hot-dog pasta? CHEESELESS.

I agree with everything in this sentence except the peas.

What level of trolling is this? Lol.

Codex above, sorry.

Codex: Ah! Friends kid will only eat pasta and nothing else. You talked about weird food combos and beans on toast are not bad. Thought to mention that French toast is delicious and a fun fact is that it's called 'poor knights of Windsor' in the UK and Europe. Also, it's Monday.

...here in Rochester, NY we have natural casing pop open hots. In my opinion they are the best, all other hot dogs are mere wieners!

My husband likes it, we had it the past couple of days. Sorry to disappoint. :)

I didn't know about it, but I'd probably eat it!

I’d give that a miss but I am sure my teens would love it. I have an admission to make, that will give you the shudders: I love those sausages cold for a wee snack…

When my dad stayed with us for three weeks last summer after getting a pacemaker, one of the dishes I made was from the Jean Pare pasta cookbook. It included wieners and was so gross, he didn't take more than a nibble and even I couldn't eat it.

That is a fun fact. Beans on toast? I like it.

I admit I've done this too occasionally over the years.

I know the series of cookbooks you refer to but thankfully have not used the past version. Phew.

Beans on toast is British standard fare, but it has to be Heinz.

Codex: Seriously???? A Scot doesn't know beans on toast? OK UK Heinz Baked beans taste better and are less sweet. Brown toast use butter or Marmite. Add shesheshe sauce to the heated beans. Finicky kids love it. (Can also add cheddar). Eat with knife and fork. Now I've got a craving.

Kraft Mac 'n Cheese with a sliced hot dog is a rite of passage! Can you really say you grew up if you didn't have at least one bowl in your youth?

Agreed!
