Things one should never outgrow:

"Music can change the
world because music can
change people." Bono
making music, even if the best you can do is the washboard-tie aka musical instruments made for people like me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do you play a musical instrument, or perhaps some sad substitute, albeit with absolute glee?

(Whatever your response, I hope there's an abundance of music enriching your life.)

That washboard tie looks like it would be fun! I've tried many "folk" instruments over the years, including harmonica, juice harp, ocarina, tin whistle, but never the washboard! More power to you!

For about five years around my early 60s, I attempted the fiddle. I never became accomplished, but I enjoyed the effort. I stopped as my body broke down. You do require decent fingers to fiddle.

I play no musical instruments, definitely a missed opportunity in this life. I do sing in a choir so there is music in my life. I do enjoy making a joyful noise by blending voices. I wish I could play the piano though. I so admire those who can play an instrument.
