I've been there. I think we all have that period in our lives where we need to refine our tastes.

Shaeffer Beer, a local NY brand used to run commercials that they were the "beer to have when you are having more than one." I guess acknowledging what we all knew: that it was so awful that it would only taste good after you had 5 or 6.
