The Little Things

The green icing is in
honour of the
Saskatchewan Roughriders.
It's just a good day when an unexpected cupcake gift appears. Especially when said cupcake is hiding marshmallow fluff and whipped cream inside.

Yup. That's the kind of day I had. How was yours?

  1. Sassawhat? Roughriders? Did I read that right? Or could it be the Pinot Noir?

  2. They're a Canadian Football League team. And yes, now that I think about it, it does seem a little odd.

  3. Hey, I got the CFL reference, fellow Canuck! And what's that on top of the cupcake -- a little Rollo chocolate or what?

  4. Oh man, what an incredible gift! Is it also packed with an insulin shot? I want a deep fried Twinkie now, is that odd?

  5. Someone forgot the whipped cream but the marshmallow cream was good enough.

  6. I had a bad day thanks to a head cold. Thanks for asking. That color choice for the icing makes me question the bakers taste level.

  8. One frosted cupcake with cream filling & nothing else that happened that matters.

  9. My day?

    Pretty good!

Two movies at the cinema and a pizza for lunch.

  11. with icing that toxic looking, it HAD to be good! There's a new cupcake place near me and their cupcakes are so good I nearly fainted. Good thing my sweet tooth isn't nearly as raging as it once was.

  12. Great thanks. A day off of work and free to myself. And maybe a new used quad for the boys.

  14. Time to turn the oven on and get whisking/baking. . . just as well we can't eat photographs, dbs. You'd have lost your cupcake at least a dozen times.

I'm tempted to make a batch with fearsome pink icing, but a lemon-y hummingbird cake might also do the trick. Whichever it is, I will post a pic and recipe on my blot.

Blot? Hmm, but okay, why not. . .
