  2. That is rather shocking. We haven’t purchased a turkey for awhile and may never do so again. I do miss it though.

  3. ...we bought our Easter ham for about 6 times the advertised price in the paper, but it will be worth every penny!

  4. OMG! I buy very little meat and am shocked at how much it has gone up in price, but have not seen anything like that.

  5. Nope, not gotta touch it. Just buying a turkey breast, frozen or fresh is sane. I think they increase the prices around various holidays. Linda in Kansas

    1. This grocery store is notorious for jacking its prices, but yes, ridiculous.

    2. It's a joke.
Growing food in space is being explored. Can't imagine how expensive that will be.

    3. My comment was a joke too. In another attempt to deflect from the Epstein files, the narcissist-in-chief claimed plans to release UFO data a few weeks ago (?) but...anyway, it's too wearying to complete this comment. Insert shrug emoji here.

  9. Wait .... what?????

Did you see that Wally World Guy that weighed a bunch of meats at Wally World to find that the weights were off and over-charging folks?

    Insane.

    2. I now pay closer attention and weigh anything that feels off at any store.

  10. In my neck of the woods, that particular grocery store is un-affectionately known as Thieven Bros. :/

    1. Omg, Marly! That spot-on pun is pure GOLD and I and everyone I know will begin employing that moniker immediately.

    2. I know I shall do so! It's perfect! And now knowing where that turkey is being sold, the outrageous price becomes self-explanatory.

  11. Can you plant it and hopes it grows more? :)

  13. I tried to comment on this post yesterday during my break at work. My phone didn't do the thing. Dammit. Not a turkey fan, I don't like it and it doesn't like me. Pretty sure I'm allergic to it. Long story. But WTAF??? At that price, will someone actually buy it? I can't imagine paying that price for anything I eat. Even if I am craving it! Sheesh.
