Let's be honest: laboratory is a synonym for a fraught 48 hours from an home-made asylum. Yikes. Remember The Fly (1986)?! (Don't google it.) Hence, that's why I would LOVE to visit this room! Because, mystery. Because, curious. Because pea-brain.
Dear friends, what in the amygdala do you think's going on in there? 😕😁
You're funny. I don't know what's in there. Only one way to find out ....
ReplyDeleteI've heard that before. Good point.
DeleteCodex: Blurry what does it say?
ReplyDeleteThis is what we get for setting horror movies in normal settings. Lovely chalet for skiing? Is Nicholson showing up soon? run. Watch Pluribus, nod to King Stephen.
Neuroscience Laboratory. Yes to art that provokes.
DeleteIt's not exactly inviting, is it?
ReplyDeleteI don't think I saw that version of The Fly, but I sort of recall the 1956 movie.
I didn't know about that version. Cool.
Delete...knock on the door and find out.
ReplyDeleteHa, too scary.
DeleteIt's neuroscience, not microbiology. They're probably hooking people's brains up to wires and monitors.
ReplyDeleteGo in and let us know what you find. Curious minds want to know.
Ha, well said...ditto with the curious mind...gathering courage.
DeleteA room filled with zombies.
ReplyDeleteExactly! And thanks to neuroscience they also have telekinesis or something.
DeleteI LOVE David Cronenberg's "The Fly" (yay, Canadian director) and it made me a Jeff Goldblum fan for life, LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt really, really, is a good one. LOVE Goldblum. In anything.
DeleteAgreed. It's so gross and so good.
DeleteCodex: go check if the zombies have escaped and let us know.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow? If you don't hear from again....
DeleteI find it so interesting that you see this and that is where your mind goes. To me it's so very different. but then I am obviously a simpleton because Mr DB, I had to look up that SAT word. See what dumb broads you hang with? (you have SAT's in Canada right?}
ReplyDeleteHa! If you're a dumb broad, I like dumb broads.
DeleteNo SATs here, just readers...I believe at one time we tied for first place with another country for most books read annually.
Maybe a sleep disorder lab? But those usually say "Sleep Lab." Linda in Kansas
ReplyDeleteThat's what they want you to believe, ha.
DeleteI don't have any guesses, but if you find out anything please report back.
ReplyDeleteWill do.
DeleteOne thought only - brain-worms (I am a parasitologist)
ReplyDeleteWhoa. Now that is an (RFK) thought...also my next nightmare, ha.
DeleteNo clue. But I was raised on science fiction, too. It's still important to me. I also like fantasy, like dragons and elves and all that other stuff.
ReplyDeleteYou may have inspired a post. Not sure if it will come out of my brain or not. :)
Perhaps you should stay well away from that door.....
ReplyDelete“Oh…my ear” (Goldblum in The Fly) I loved that movie, but it was so sad and made me cry. My brother was horrified that I cried at a horror movie, but that just means they did a good job, right?
