Each year I see more people in my community wearing orange shirts. Plus, Manitoba just elected Canada's first First Nation premier, Wab Kinew. I am so tired of people who ignore or make excuses for Canada's appalling history toward Indigenous peoples.

I agree -- more, please! I'm thrilled by Wab Kinew's election in my old home province. Plus it's also good that the NDP is back in government there.
That was quite the thing in Manitoba.
Agreed. I was so happy to see an indigenous person elected premier next door. It's about damn time. -Kate
