Let's be honest

I know this is a little late...but we enjoyed a rare Christmas with our kids and ALL our grandkids. Three of the five (!) little ones slept over with us; we were VERY BUSY in the best possible way. You would definitely laugh at the chaotic family pics sure to be hilariously re-enacted in the future. Anyway, on Christmas Eve, these are the treats they decided to leave for Santa and the reindeer. M wrote, "SANTA FOR YOU." 😀

Healthy choices... or hmm... were those little toots keeping the cookies and chocolates for themselves? Either way, adorbs.

P.S. I have a few scheduled posts before year-end, but I'm starting a new job in January for a few weeks and I AM BUSY (good busy). Nevertheless, I will check in periodically to determine if you've left ME some treats posts, because let's be honest, those feel like surprise treats too.

    1. It's beyond mine too, thus I suspect I'll be ghosting for a while. Sigh.

  2. What a pair of lightweights, you two fellas! (Just kidding.) Being busy is good; I think. I avoid it, but it does make the time fly! We've been home for four days and I'm purposely not going anywhere I don't have to. I've even skipped family gatherings for the pure pleasure of nesting in my own home -- all the livelong day. As Dave Broadfoot said, "I'm old enough to do what I want!" and I don't care what anyone thinks about it. Bah and humbug and all that.
It's so true that every time someone leaves a comment, it feels like a treat.
Enjoy yourself getting up early in the morning and toddling off to work. KaChing!? You'll appreciate, even more, retiring again once it's over.

  4. Lovely choices for Santa. But did you leave any treats for the reindeer? We'd put out a bucket of water and a bundle of hay. On Christmas morning, Santa would eat the cookies, and leave some of the hairs falling from his beard, AND Rudolph's gang ate and messed up the hay, drank half the water and left muddy hoof prints on the porch and up the wall. Stay warm up there. Linda in Kansas
