| A sister to M & L, and a cousin to I. |
But she's finally here: another M, her name a nod to my Grandmother and her middle name for my daughter's grandmother. Imagine being so fortunate to be named after two grandmas...that seems to me like just the right amount of grammatude, and I can't wait.
I too named my children after a grandparent and a great-grandparents, and feel really good about connecting them in this way.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Grandpop, on the latest addition!
Thank you.
DeleteCongratulations! Good for your daughter standing her ground. There is too much interference with mom's and due dates, it just causes more problems. My first baby was 9lbs. That hurts.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is recovering well, but yes, it hurts.
DeleteCodex: Congrats. Wonderfully named after a grandmother similar to mine. *shoulder pat*
ReplyDeleteThank you, Codex. *shoulder pat & high five*
DeleteCongratulations to you all! 😊❤️
ReplyDeleteThank you. We're happy she's here.

DeleteLucky you, to have another gorgeous granddaughter to cuddle and love. You can never have too many.
ReplyDeleteAgreed.
DeleteCongratulations to you and yours. It seems like a,, manner of things shall be well. Ny grandson is named after his granddads. In my case, it is a variation of my name with “athan” added.
ReplyDeleteLove that.
DeleteCongratulations! I'm partial to M names myself.
ReplyDeleteI see you.
DeleteThis is so exciting! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteHappy news!! Congrats all around. A baby is such a lovely little bundle of endless possibilities. Also, why is a new baby like instant coffee? Because it's easy to make and it keeps you up all night. :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's middle name is Dawn, the feminine version of my grandfather, Don. He saved my life when I had to get out of my home of origin and was the father I needed to finish growing up.
Congratulations to you and your family on the newest member and naming after a family member is wonderful.
