Things that deserve the stink-eye:

Dopamine Party? Not so much.
whatever this is aka cottage cheese (high-protein) no-flour pumpkin loaf, lol.

I believe it was Homer Simpson who said, "the first step to failing is trying." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  1. at least you gave it a go... normally pumpkin loaf would be yummy especially with cream cheese icing.

  2. I don’t believe in stink eyes for trying things. Good for you for trying. ❤️😊

  3. They say that the only failure is in not trying, but I don't know if that is entirely true. Will you try again?

  4. Welcome to my world! I have baked 100% whole wheat bread frequently for 45 years and every once in a while it still flops. Don't get me started on my occasional failures with wild yeast starter sourdough. Fortunately I have two grown sons who will happily eat my disasters. Nothing goes to waste, at least, which I appreciate because baking is a lot of muss and fuss. I only do it because I like to eat.

  5. if the loaves are for your personal use and they taste good it doesn't matter what they look like.

With that being said, every time I've made a bread that doesn't rise it's usually because the dough was too wet.

  7. Having never made bread, I have no clue or tips to give. I'm more like your friend in the kitchen who pours you a cold one to keep you going and tells you stories to keep you entertained. :-). The only bread I've ever made is banana bread. At least you tried, and I bet it's still good. I'd die for a piece of bread, celiac be damned!
