Yep. That's about the way things are these days. *sigh*

It is so amazing, or should I say bewildering, how even adults are so into a movie about the hunger of kids and how they slaughter each other for food. The world gets a little more harsh with each passing day.

I agree, of course, although I think ratings no longer really have much purpose.

I read that because they're protesting that rating, Bully is going to be released unrated. Which, good for them.

...and they wonder why people pirate movies. I'm sure the creators of Bully would even rather their film be pirated than censored by a rating.

When I read your comment: "I dance like a frog on crutches," I finished the line--"but in my heart, I soar!"
I think you'll like it.

And we wonder why things are so effed up...

Loved the books of the hunger games, just saw the movie. Pretty fair rating. The descriptions of the deaths in the book were much more graphic and the books are officially under the young adult fiction genre so . . . As for the documentary, I could not say as I haven't seen it.

Agreed. I teach middle school, and 14-17 year olds need to see Bully. Trust me, they can handle a few f bombs.
