Wordfuse (The Morning Edition)

An phrase intended to describe that inevitable moment when one can no longer ignore the alarm or the parents or the dog or the court order or the child or the cast and crew of Supernanny or the livid spouse attempting to forcibly drag one's sorry ass out of bed while one thrashes about in childish protest like a cat thrown in a bathtub.

$*#! It's time to get up and face the world. Put. On. A. Smile. Or else.

Me. Every morning. I writhe to sound of "Mommy? Can I have some cereal?"

As usual, wordfuse = awesome.

Alittlesprite said...

My writhe is usually due to the hubby poking me in the back. And not with his finger.

This morning was particularly bad. Why was it so dark? Is the world just tired after the storm?

It sucked.

Wordfuse made it all better!

Yup. Pretty much described my morning this morn-I mean-week. No, that's not right, either. Year! That's it!

Except, in my case, I have to drag my own ass out of bed first. Next, is to sum up the energy to wake the wife (especially since she's back on day shift).

I woke up this morning feeling cranky. But, she had to get up to go to work.
